Groundbreaking teaming solution turns any browser into a full-function video collaboration endpoint without downloads; Clara Online selects Chime as its primary collaboration offering to Chinese businesses.
Enterprise Connect – Orlando, Florida – March 8, 2016 – CaféX Communications®, a leading supplier of mobile and web engagement solutions, Communication Business Avenue, Inc. (CBA), and Clara Online, Inc., a leading provider of cloud services, announced a partnership to bring CaféX’s revolutionary Chime browser-based collaboration technology to China’s burgeoning business market. Clara Online will position Chime as its primary video collaboration offering, as well as provide CaféX’s complete portfolio of advanced customer engagement solutions to its customers.
Clara Online is recognized throughout Asia as a leader in providing cutting edge innovative technologies to its customers, and as a premier provider of cloud services, secure datacenters, and infrastructure. As CaféX’s primary business partner in Asia, CBA will team with Clara Online on marketing, sales, training, and technical support to help accelerate the adoption of the CaféX products.
Chime (view Chime video here) is a new business application that breaks down the barriers often encountered with traditional video conferencing and collaboration systems. A finalist for this year’s Best of Enterprise Connect, it enables any browser on any platform to be a full-featured video collaboration endpoint – without browser downloads or heavy software applications. Chime delivers on the unfulfilled promises of Web real-time-communication (WebRTC) by seamlessly extending today’s video conferencing systems to every user on every browser. And, Chime delivers cost savings up to 70% over comparable collaboration systems.
Clara Online will also market CaféX’s Live Assist, a cloud- or premise-based customer engagement platform that unifies customer contact channels to ensure that agents working with customers have a 360-degree real-time view of the context of the customer’s questions – regardless of how many or which channels they have used trying to find a resolution. In addition, the company will address the contact center marketplace with Supervisor Assist, (see Supervisor Assist video) a compelling agent monitoring tool that enables live coaching to be done from any location using browser-based technology. Supervisor Assist brings the one-on-one coaching to a new level whether agents are located across the room or across the world.
The companies anticipate rolling out the new products to markets throughout China immediately.
